How do i dig up stuff I find with my metal detector without damaging my lawn?

I have a metal detector and I was that detects metal in my backyard and I marked some points where I got a knock and I was wondering how I could dig up without damaging my lawn of Male equally.

get a shovel and come in under side of the dirt, just Ripping up the grass, then strappili back, then dig down right.

Use a trowel plastic hand if possible as you can go in every trowel full of dirt on top of the detector to find the target. Once you 're done and has completely replaced the dirt and Piot, the water. In saying all this, you have more? likely to find residues of construction around your house cos? Don 't go pazzesca digging in on every shot, particularly pi? are close to actual construction.
