where would be a good place to test out our new metal detector in the northwest and west suburbs of chicago?

we 'd gradice try our new metal detector and ask if anyone knows of a specific point with great history that we could find some kind of relic or something?

try the place like the old shipyards, but is careful!

try one of the forest preserves or go to start the shore of the lake and see the beaches.

The beach, old playing fields of parks, abandoned any area but be careful. If you can perhaps areas around a material carried over. Good luck and have fun.
